Dr. Rob Merrill Originally from Brevard, Dr. Merrill graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then completed his doctorate at the UNC School of Dentistry. Dr. Merrill opened his practice in Asheville in 1981 with the vision of offering quality dental care in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Dr. Merrill has held numerous community and dental leadership positions including President of the Buncombe County Dental Society. He has earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and continues to be active in the national, state and local dental organizations. Dr. Merrill and his wife, Lee, have three children (Chris, Jacqui, and Jessica). They reside in the Beaverdam community of Asheville.                     Angie Stafford, Office Manager Angie, a team member since 1985, began her employment as a dental assistant before transferring to the business office four years later. She earned a Business Administration degree from Haywood Community College in 2002. Angie and her husband, Wayne, live in Old Fort and are active members of Biltmore Baptist Church. In addition to spending time with her sons, she enjoys travel and reading.             Lynn Allen, Clinical Assistant Lynn seems to always be having fun! As a team member since 1989, she anchors our dental team. Her true love is making patients feel comfortable, especially during lengthy cosmetic or complex treatments. Lynn's son Daniel is currently attending AB Tech and she enjoys most any activity that takes her outdoors.             Lauren Wall, Dental Hygienist Lauren has been an enthusiastic staff member since 1996 and enjoys providing gentle yet thorough treatment for patients. She now considers them her "extended" family. Lauren is a graduate of AB Tech and attended Appalachian State University. She enjoys walking with her dogs, gardening, and cooking. Lauren and her husband, Warren, also like to travel.             Debbie Gleeson, Clinical Assistant A team member in our office since 1999, Debbie has been in dentistry since 1981. She is a dedicated staff member who enjoys taking care of our patients and keeping them comfortable. Debbie and Danny, her husband of 24 years, have four children and 1 grandson. She is involved in their lives and enjoys the simple things that makes life fun. Debbie also enjoys walking, hiking, and camping.             Lydia Cox, Dental Hygienist After earning her Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene degrees from AB Tech, Lydia joined our team in 2002. She enjoys running, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. She also volunteers as a basketball coach at Leicester Elementary School. Lydia and her husband Jeremy are active members of Beulah Baptist Church.             Kathy Bustle, Appointment Coordinator Kathy has worked in the dental field for many years both as a clinical assistant and as a front desk administrator. She and her husband, Mike, grew up in North Asheville and are raising a son, Michael and a daughter, Michaela in the North Buncombe area. Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband and children as well as crafts, sewing, and knitting.
